How to Install Chain Conveyor

Chain conveyor is used in paper making plant to conveying waste paper to pulper machine or bale breaker. One customer ordered chain conveyor from our company, we provided installation plan. Install methods of chain conveyor as below.

 

Chain Conveyor Install Methods

 

1. Installation of horizontal section and concave arc section frame: First, place the horizontal section and concave arc section frame of the chain conveyor on the foundation and align them. Align the center line of the chain conveyor with the center line of the equipment scheme, and fix them briefly with the embedded plate of the foundation (using welding positioning blocks).
2. Installation of inclined section frame and outrigger: weld each leg and leg reinforcement component firmly to the foundation embedded plate according to their respective positions and elevations. During on-site installation, assemble the inclined section frame to make it a whole. Then, lift the inclined section frame as a whole, place the lower longitudinal beam of the inclined section on the back end of the chain conveyor leg and connect it to the concave arc section. After alignment, weld the entire frame firmly to each leg and the embedded plate of the horizontal section foundation, completing the installation of the frame body.
3. Ladder and operating platform installation: Butt and weld the upper surface of the ladder stringer with the upper surface of the lower stringer of the frame, and connect the outer side of the ladder with the slant support and the leg of the chain conveyor; The operating platform is also the inner side frame of the operating platform, which is connected to the outrigger of the chain conveyor, and the outer side is also connected to the outrigger with slant support.
4. Installation of the drive shaft of the reducer and the chain conveyor.
5. Installation of the reducer fixing: At the time of shipment, the motor, reducer, and transmission base have been assembled as one unit. On site, only the hollow shaft hole of the reducer needs to be connected to the active shaft of the chain conveyor using keys and shaft end covers. The transmission base is linked to the fixed bracket through bolts, and the fixed bracket is connected to the inclined section frame of the chain conveyor through on-site welding.
